Kiara Rechichi-Baker

KIARA RECHICHI-BAKER is a hills artist

working predominantly with printmaking,
textiles and mixed media collage. Her passion
for art and travel began as an exchange
student to the Northern Italian region of
Veneto and continued during her university
studies at Curtin and NABA in Milan. Her
relief prints are inspired by the narratives
surrounding the places and people from her
travels and utilize found text, gold and silver
leaf, mosaic designs and luscious silks
collected from Morocco, Asia, Turkey and
India. Kiara exhibits with Linton and Kay
Contemporary and has works on display in
White Room Framing Studios, a local
Kalamunda art and framing studio run
together with her husband Andrew Baker.
